Because everyone who plays in the Blue Ridge APA should have the oppertunity to play in at least one large tournament per year, if they wish, all the teams that do not qualify for the Local Team Championships will be invited to play in our annual Best Of The Rest Tournament. There will be a $40 team entry fee for this event with a 100% payout.

Congratulations to Michelle Walker and Tim Trantham of Waynesville, who won the 2010 Blue Ridge APA Regional Jack & Jill Qualifier Tournament! They went to Las Vegas in April to compete in the national Jack & Jill 8-Ball Championship!
Jack & Jill is a mixed Scotch Doubles 8-Ball format tournament. Teams consist of one male and one female player whose combined handicap is 10 or lower. Standard APA 8-Ball rules apply. We hold a minimum of three regular Jack & Jill qualifier tournaments each league year. Winning teams qualify for the Regional Jack & Jill Chamionship where the winning team will win a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the APA National Jack & Jill Championship next spring.

All players who earned the title of TOP GUN in their division during the 2009-2010 league year will be invited to play in our 2nd annual Top Gun Tournament, where the winner will recieve sponsorship from the Blue Ridge APA to compete in an open pro event. Congratulations to last year's finalists Troy Creasman (8-ball) and Aaron Frady (9-ball). The Top Gun title went to Aaron Frady, who played in the 2010 Derby City Classic in January.

2011 Sportsmanship Cup Tournament

Register at 6:15pm - Tournament starts at 7:00pm
All players who are recognized by other members of their division throughout the 2010 - 2011 league year as somone who exemplifies good sportsmanship will be invited to play in our annual Blue Ridge APA Sportsmanship Cup. The winner of this tournament will win a trip to Las Vegas to play in MiniMania events during the APA National Team Championships in August 2011. Congratulations to the 2010 winner Dan Buskirk!
